Welcome

We are a group of families who cycle together in the morning to the primary schools along Hamilton Drive including Hob Moor Primary, Acomb Primary and Our Lady’s Primary. We bring music, lights, and costumes to make the school run safe and fun for everyone!

We follow a fixed timetable and fixed route along Hamilton Drive. You can meet us at the beginning of the route or anywhere along it—just filter into the group as we ride pass. All adults must register below and supervise their children for the duration of the ride to school.

Route

We depart from the Lowfields Green play area at 8:11 am and ride east along Tudor Road and Hamilton Drive. We drop off kids at Hob Moor Primary, Acomb Primary, and Our Lady’s Primary.

How We Ride

We believe that riding together increases safety by pacifying surrounding traffic. We stay together and we ride at a child-friendly pace.

We suggest that you ride with your child or children on your left. That way, the group forms a protective wall of adults between the children and oncoming traffic.
